Employers rely on personality assessments to discover the personal strengths of their employees.
* Myers-Briggs Type Indicator: Blu Prospects has consultants certified to administer the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). The MBTI is a psychological instrument that has been designed to effectively put the theories of Swiss psychiatrist Carl G. Jung to practical use in a wide variety of applications. When administered to an individual, the MBTI can reveal patterns of “mental habits” for that individual. We utilize the instrument to serve clients in a variety of applications including management development, team building, career development, outplacement, communication training, and conflict resolution.
* Strengths Finders: The Clifton Strengths Finder assessment helps identify the areas where you (or your team if being used in that context) have the greatest potential for building strength. It measures recurring patterns of thought, feeling, and behavior.
*DiSC: Based on the ideas of psychologists William Marston and Walter Clarke, it evaluates
behavior. It focuses on the traits of dominance, influence, steadiness, and conscientiousness
(DISC). Some companies rely on it to hire staff, while others use it to gauge an employee’s
suitability for a job. It may put you on the right career path for you.
